Andrey Santos has been a rising star for sister-club RC Strasbourg, and now he's making his mark at Chelsea. Stepping into the 'Caicedo-role', Santos ensured that Chelsea didn't miss their key player and kept Caicedo fresh for the bench, ready for the challenges ahead. Santos' performance was a testament to his versatility and adaptability, as he seamlessly transitioned into a deeper position, showcasing his ability to contribute in multiple ways.
'Andrey was excellent. His position today was the one he's played for us most of the time, a little bit higher in the pocket. We have Moi in that [deeper] position, so we try to find solutions for Andrey. We're aware that his position is the one he played today,' said Enzo Maresca, highlighting Santos' importance to the team.

Neto, who had a two-week rest during the international break, looked rejuvenated. His fresh energy was evident as he played a pivotal role in both goals. Neto headed in the first from Jamie Gittens' excellent cross and then set up Marc Guiu with a clever reverse through ball, leading to the second goal. If secondary assists were an official stat, Neto would undoubtedly be recognized for his contribution.
Neto's performance has been exceptional this season, and he's the only player besides Caicedo to feature on the player ratings podium multiple times.
