And, in a stunning debut, the French team Schumacher CLRT dominated, securing the team championship.

He also hinted at exciting changes for the 2026 season, including 16 races across eight circuits in five countries with the new Porsche 911 Cup.
The Stars of the Season
Robert de Haan and Porsche Junior Alessandro Ghiretti (Schumacher CLRT) were the standout performers. De Haan celebrated six race wins, four pole positions, and five fastest laps, earning him the “TAG Heuer Fastest Lap Award” and an exclusive wristwatch. Ghiretti followed closely with four victories and multiple fastest qualifying and lap times. Sacha Norden's dominance in the rookie classification was undeniable, finishing as the top newcomer in nine of the 16 races. Michael Schrey's ProAm championship was a special moment, marking 19 years since his rookie title in the Porsche Supercup.
The Team Championship: A Photo Finish
The team championship battle was incredibly close, with Schumacher CLRT edging out Proton Huber Competition by a single point. This highlights the fierce competition throughout the season.
Talent Pool and Future Stars
Porsche Deutschland continued its tradition of supporting young drivers through its Talent Pool program, in partnership with ADAC. Flynt Schuring, the most successful Talent Pool member, won three races and finished fourth overall. He has been nominated for the Porsche Junior selection process. The German Carrera Cup has a history of producing Porsche Juniors, including this year's Theo Oeverhaus, and past champions like Bastian Buus and Laurin Heinrich. The newly crowned DTM champion, Ayhancan Güven, also came through the ranks of the German one-make series as a Porsche Junior.
2025 Season Statistics
Over the 16 races, 45 drivers from 17 nations competed. Germany and the Netherlands had the largest contingents, with 16 and 10 drivers, respectively. The season saw an average of more than 28 drivers per race, covering nearly 33,200 kilometers. The fastest race was at the Red Bull Ring, with an average speed of 168 km/h. The fastest lap was set by Alessandro Ghiretti at Spa-Francorchamps, averaging 181 km/h. The season's closest finish was at Spa-Francorchamps, with Flynt Schuring winning by just 0.423 seconds. The Norisring saw the most thrilling qualifying session, with less than a second separating pole position from 25th on the grid.
Racing with a Green Heart
Committed to reducing CO₂ emissions, the Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland used the synthetic fuel “DTM Pro Climate” throughout the 2025 season, aligning with the DTM, ADAC GT Masters, and GT4 Germany series.

The Porsche Sixt Carrera Cup Deutschland was broadcast on television in over 200 territories. Fans could also follow the series through online platforms like the Porsche Motorsport Hub and social media channels.
Looking Ahead to 2026
The 2026 season will introduce the new Porsche 911 Cup, based on the 992.2 generation, with aerodynamic enhancements and a 4.0-liter engine delivering 520 PS. The calendar includes 16 races across eight weekends, starting at Imola, Italy, as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Other notable races will be held at the Red Bull Ring, Spa-Francorchamps, and the Nürburgring.
