Samsung's Certified Re-Newed Galaxy S25: Now in Europe, but with a Twist!
In a recent move, Samsung has brought its Certified Re-Newed (CRN) program to the UK, Germany, and France, offering customers a chance to own the Galaxy S25 series at a potentially more affordable price. But here's where it gets interesting: the program has different names in each country, and the available models vary!
UK and Germany: Certified Re-Newed
The program in the UK and Germany is straightforwardly named 'Certified Re-Newed'. Customers can choose from the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, with various storage options. For instance, the S25 is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants in the UK, while Germany offers only the 512GB model.
France: Refurbished Premium By Samsung
In France, the program is called 'Refurbished Premium By Samsung' or 'Reconditionné Premium par Samsung'. Interestingly, the S25+ model seems to be missing from the lineup, at least for now. The S25 and S25 Ultra are available, with the S25 offering 256GB storage and the S25 Ultra featuring a 256GB option.
These refurbished phones are not just any old devices. Samsung ensures they are top-grade returned units, meticulously cleaned and tested through 100+ quality checks. Repairs, if needed, are done with genuine Samsung parts, including a new battery. The phones are then updated with the latest software and assigned new IMEI numbers, ensuring they're as good as new.
The packaging also gets a refresh, with a new box made from recyclable materials. Inside, you'll find the same accessories as a new device, albeit a minimal set these days: a USB-C cable and a SIM ejector tool.
Samsung's commitment to these refurbished phones goes beyond the packaging. They offer the same warranty as new devices, a bold move that sets them apart from typical third-party refurbished deals. And if that's not enough, Samsung Care+ provides additional peace of mind with a free battery replacement if it drops below 80% health and extra theft coverage.
Jun Kim, EVP and Head of Galaxy Value Innovation Team at Samsung Electronics, expressed enthusiasm about the program's expansion, emphasizing its role in promoting a circular economy and making flagship devices more accessible.
But wait, there's more! Samsung US also offers Galaxy Z units (up to Z Flip6 and Z Fold6) as part of its CRN program, but these aren't available in Europe yet. This raises the question: will Europe see these models soon, or will they remain a US-exclusive?
As an affiliate, we've listed some of the best deals for the Galaxy S25 series, with various storage and RAM configurations. These prices might just be the sweet spot for those seeking a premium Samsung experience without the full price tag.
